The Willow Coffin
Traditionally hand weaved by skilled UK craftspeople, our willow coffins are beautiful, bespoke creations that combine great looks with impressive environmental credentials.
No mechanical or electrical energy is required to make a willow coffin, less energy is used when a willow coffin is cremated, and, as they are fully biodegradable, willow coffins decompose more quickly than their traditional counterparts.
The Bamboo Coffins
The bamboo used in our environmentally friendly coffins is purpose grown and of a species that is not consumed by pandas. The bamboo is grown in specially licensed plantations in China before being transformed into smart-looking coffins at an adult-staffed factory.
The manufacturing process employs age-old woodwork and weaving skills to create a beautiful product with virtually no carbon footprint. It is fully biodegradable and decomposes at a quicker rate than conventional coffins.
